Best Practices in Equipment & Fleet Management - Rates

This is the second article in our Best Practices in Equipment & Fleet Management series, which is intended to highlight content from CFMA’s forthcoming Mini-Conference of the same name. 

In the first article, published in February 2019, we wrote about a company’s culture impacting many decisions related to equipment, fleet, shop, and facilities. The Internal Rates for Equipment – Off road, On-road, Plants and Small Equipment – will vary for each company due to differing philosophies around utilization, charging to projects, ownership/availability, maintenance, technology, and indirect cost allocations.
